Obama is in danger of losing his credibility and therefore his "presidential standing". The reason, he is skipping lots of important votes in the Senate, when most of the other candidates are present to let people know how they think on the issues. My guess Obama is playing the game of trying to keep himself clean, by not attaching his name to controversial voting. The problem that's not a quality that Americans want in a President. Americans want a President who is willing to face the issues and deal with them, not run from them.
