Biden's plan to split Iraq passes in the Senate

This is actually not a bad idea. Kurds in the north, Sunnis in the center and Shites in the south and a national cooperation agreement to manage the oil resources. But as always there are critics. According to the critics, Iraqis are against dividing their country.

Wait a minute!

I have been hearing that one of the main problems in getting a reunification and reconciliation in Iraq is because Shites, Sunnis and Kurds feel more Shite, Sunni and Kurd than Iraqi. And now that they could have the chance to have their own autonomous territories, they don't want "their country" split. This is a contradiction and I think those critics are wrong. A plan like the Biden plan if well designed, presented and implemented could be the only chance to solve the mess and get us out of Iraq.

Of course to have that plan well designed, presented and implemented will need competent people to do that job, what rules out the Bush administration and its cronies.
