"Get Congress Out of the Classroom"

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/03/opinion/03ravitch.html).

"Despite the rosy claims of the Bush administration, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002 is fundamentally flawed."

Is this pattern familiar to you? The Bush administration making rosy claims that something is working, when evidence on the contrary keeps piling? A big banner stating "Mission Accomplished" comes to my mind, plus countless of statements and speeches stating that conditions in Iraq were improving, that "victory" (whatever that means) was just around the corner, we should just give it some more time. And as time passes, it just gets worse, losses pile and the waste is insurmountable.
