Obama 2011 SOTU was not a report on the status of all America, but a report on the status of the top 2% of Americans. Also a report on what more can Obama, Dems do for them.

No More Hope and Change

No more hope and change from Obama and Democrats. Only same ol, same ol Status Quo. Bowing to the interests of corporations and millionaires at the expense of the poor and middle class. Administering the federal budget as always to benefit the privileged first. After all corporations and millionaires are so precious, there are so few of them. In comparison there are hundred of millions of poor and middle class available, we are expendable.



Only a political party of workers can build a power structure to counter the apparently omnipotent power of millionaires and corporations.

Very simple bottom line to tonight's SOTU. Obama did not offer anything of substance that could motivate Liberals and the GOP-TeaParty response was as moronic and as unintelligent as always. There is not much I can do or will do for the GOP. My only concern is Obama and Democrats. Obama has betrayed almost all segments of the Liberal movement and now he wants to be Bill Clinton 2.0. If that's what Obama wants, that's OK with me. Just don't come lying to Liberals on how many good things he has done for us and how many great plans he may have. Obama first 2 yrs were a disappointment, the next 2 yrs won't be better and there is really no hope for Liberals in 2012 (either we got the GOP or Obama again). Liberals need to start planning really for 2016 or 2020. A Republican is always better than a "Conservative Democrat". Why? Because with a Republican you know what to expect and you know what and who to oppose. With a Republican you don't have to hold back. With a Republican you can unload freely without remorse. With a Conservative Democrats you always have to hold back, you have to make sure you don't criticize "too much" because you know it is bad for the party. Like with Clinton and Obama they both betrayed the Liberal base that got them elected. They both spit Liberals on the face. But they are Democrats, so Liberals hold back. We even keep donating money, volunteering and being the voice of attack against Republicans. We always help them win the next election and always end up with nothing. A recent poll says that there is not much appetite for increasing gun control. And I say, that's OK. Guns are sexy, guns make you feel powerful and respected. Guns make you feel secure because you think you have a fighting chance if attacked. All that is OK because all those "reasons" just feed your psychological needs of power, security and respect. If you believe that guns do not kill people, it is people with guns what kill people, then you will not mind rigging your house with asbestos. After all asbestos does not kill people, it is the cancer caused by asbestos what kills people. Guns lay the ground for all kind of safety threats. But we do not believe that...yet. And I say OK.
